Privacy notice

This notice describes the landing page and waitlist. The public image checker is not open yet.

Information you choose to provide

When you join, we collect your email in lowercase, an intended-use category, and the time you consented and submitted. The API page uses the developer API category. When available, we also store campaign attribution fields (UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content) and the referring domain. The waitlist database does not store an original IP address or a full referring URL.

Purpose and retention

We use the record to evaluate demand and respond to early-access interest. Submission does not send an email, start billing, activate API access, or subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Unconverted waitlist entries are deleted after 12 months. You can request deletion earlier by emailing hello@imageevidence.com from the submitted address. There is no self-service deletion portal or guaranteed response time.

Cloudflare and the security check

Cloudflare hosts the site and the D1 waitlist database. Its Turnstile service checks the form for automated abuse; the form sends a challenge token for server validation. Cloudflare may process request and device information to deliver and protect these services according to its own privacy terms. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and measures page-load performance without cookies or local storage. We do not add your original IP to the waitlist record. The application does not log email addresses, submitted content, or full referring URLs.

Cookie choice, Google Analytics and optional Google Ads

Your accept or reject choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. Google Analytics, and Google Ads measurement when an advertising ID has been configured, load only after you accept. Google Analytics then records page views and interactions such as scrolling, outbound link clicks and form starts or submissions, together with device, browser and approximate location information, and sets first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The only custom application events are waitlist submission and presale click; we do not attach your email or intended use to any measurement event. Google may process device and request information and use cookies when measurement is enabled. You can reopen Cookie settings, reject optional cookies, or clear browser storage. Rejecting does not delete cookies that an enabled third-party tag has already created; you can remove them in your browser settings.

Uploads and product boundaries

This landing page does not accept or analyze uploaded images or videos. Its sample is repository-created geometry and a manually prepared report format, not an actual detection result. We do not train on user content, recognize faces, retain face features, search for people, remove watermarks, or provide detector evasion.

Official guidance links and any configured presale link lead to separate services with their own notices. A waitlist submission is not a purchase.
